We are delighted to announce our latest partnership, with Our Colchester Business Improvement District (BID).

As part of the partnership, we will be working with BID members to ensure they are getting the best deal possible for their business. For every card payment review conducted, we will be donating a £10 Charity Shop Gift Card to Colchester Food Bank, with this donation rising to £50 if BID members take up their recommendation.

Richard Bradley, CEO of acceptcards® says: “It’s great to work with Our Colchester BID to provide a free financial review of its member’s, card payment services. With the cost-of-living crisis hitting us all now is the perfect time to see if there’s a better deal that could save your business money with average savings between 30-40%.

By undertaking a review, BID members will get peace of mind and for a business that takes up the offer, we will donate the minimum of a £10 charity shop gift card to the town’s foodbank who in turn will give the cards to service users who can then spend them in Havens Hospice shops with one located on High Street.”

Richard continued “We are champions of supporting local as we know that when we spend locally it helps our towns thrive. We are proud to partner with Our Colchester with their forward vision of bringing multiple partners together to help the community and fully believe that when we come together, with collaborative working, we can achieve greater things.”

Chris Morgan, Director of Our Colchester BID says “Having worked with acceptcards® in my capacity at Metro Bank I have seen first-hand how they have been able to save my clients money and provide them with better options for their card payment facilities.  As an independent, whole of market broker they are truly customer-focused and always work to secure the best deals available, with no loyalty to anyone bank or brand, leaving no ambiguity or hidden agendas.  I would not hesitate to refer people to them for advice and am very happy that they have agreed to extend their offer to the levy payers that form part of the Our Colchester BID zone.  This could be a great benefit for our levy payers to explore and as an added bonus will help to raise funds for a local charity shop within the BID zone, whilst also benefiting the service users of our local food bank, which is a very important part of Colchester.”

Mike Beckett, Chief Officer of Colchester Foodbank said “Our Foodbank charity is delighted to find partners to work with for the good of our community. Initiatives like this proposed by acceptcards® and Colchester BID members offer just the sort of thing that will really help our clients during the cost-of-living crisis. We love working with fellow charities like Havens Hospice charity shop to help clients who are in crisis get more of the support they need to get back on their feet.”

If you are a Colchester BID levy payer/member, email ColchesterBID@acceptcards.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
